The Motorola Canopy™ Wireless Broadband System
- Fixed Wireless runs over Unlicensed U-NII bands: 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz, 5.2 GHz, and 5.7 GHz ranges.
- Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) is installed outside, usually on the roof, pointed back to an Access Point (AP) radio tower, creating a Wireless Local Loop (WLL) to the Internet. Small radios are innocuous and easy to install.
- Motorola proprietary over-the-air data encryption prevents anyone from deciphering data.
- Built to be “last-man standing.” Withstands 118mph winds and temperatures ranging from -40oF to 131oF.
