Peter H. Schmidt, President of Lifting Mind Inc., is a serial entrepreneur, having co-founded more than ten companies and non-profits. He is co-inventor on five networking patents, and has brought eight products to market in the past decade. Teradyne acquired his company Midnight Networks for cash in 1996, and since then he has been involved as an angel or Director in an additional 19 startups. One 2003 mentoree was a semi-finalist in the MIT $50K Competition and another won the HBS Business Plan Contest. He flies aerobatics for fun. He has a bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering, and a Master's in Management, both from MIT.

Rebecca Wetzel is a 20-year veteran of the data networking industry, with unparalleled inside knowledge of the Internet service and product markets. She works with network product vendors and service providers to develop and implement strategies for new IP-based offerings.

Ms. Wetzel helped move the Internet into the commercial realm at BBN, which was at the center of the action during the Internet's most formative years from 1985 to 1996. Following that she was a founding employee of commercial Internet service provider BBN Planet (later Genuity and now Level3 Communications), where she built and managed the marketing organization that positioned the company as a leader in providing value-added IP services to businesses. After BBN, Ms. Wetzel became director of Internet Consulting at TeleChoice, and later Vice President of Marketing at network caching and streaming media product vendor InfoLibria (now Certeon). Ms. Wetzel's career in data networking began at Motorola Codex Corporation in 1984.

The author of numerous articles, white papers, and reports on Internet-related topics, she is co-author of the book Internet Telephony for Dummies. A graduate of Wellesley College, Ms. Wetzel received her MBA from Babson College, and an MA degree from the University of Bradford in West Yorkshire, England.
